A Gardener's Eden A Boston-based couple were
planning to relocate full-time to their historic 18th century colonial weekend
home in Rockport, Massachusetts from their waterfront condominium.
They had spent
years creating a garden sanctuary on their grounds, and wished to have a unique
room from which they could enjoy the garden views year-round.
Luna
Design Group's solution was a 177-square-foot "studio" addition, which serves
as a combination mudroom, garden work room, and informal seating area for
entertaining and reading. A hexagonal shape, cathedral ceiling, ample windows,
and a French door that opens to the garden make this relatively small space
seem light, airy, and inviting. |
