Developed by the Dorchester Bay Economic Development Corporation, Bird Street Estates creates eight new affordable housing units on four vacant lots in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston. Elements from surrounding homes including roof lines, window proportions, lattice porches, columns, and shingle patterns were incorporated into the design of the duplex and two-family homes to make each a welcome addition to the established neighborhood.
